Investment Criteria

  • We only invest in sectors where we have direct and relevant experience and where we believe we can add value.

  • We typically invest in businesses with an enterprise value of less than £10m.

  • We have an appetite to help companies grow both organically and through selective, bolt on acquisitions.

  • We typically invest amounts between £0.5m-£5m.

Funding

Fresh Equity typically invest between £0.5m and £5m of equity in deals with an enterprise value of less than £10m.

Stage of Investment

We will look at most types of investment across the funding spectrum be it early stage, development capital, MBOs or MBIs.

Industry Sectors

We have particular interest and experience in Specialist Engineering (Automation & Robotics, Process Controls), TMT, SaaS and Environmental Control sectors.

Flexible Approach

One size doesn’t fit all – Fresh Equity try to put in place a funding structure for each business that is fit for purpose.

Sector Preferences

We prefer to invest in businesses operating in market sectors where we have direct, relevant experience and where we perceive there to be an opportunity for consolidation and prospects for above average market growth. Currently we believe these to be in the following areas:
